Delete Your BarnDesk Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your BarnDesk account and the data associated with it.
How to delete your account
You have two ways to request account deletion:
Option 1: From within the app (fastest)
- Open BarnDesk on your iPhone or Android device
- Tap the More tab in the bottom navigation
- Tap Settings → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account and associated data will be queued for deletion within 24 hours.
Option 2: Email request
If you cannot access the app, email us at support@thebarndesk.com with the subject line “Account deletion request” and include the email address associated with your BarnDesk account. We will process your deletion request within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your BarnDesk account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number, password)
- All animal records you created
- All receipt images you uploaded
- All expense and income entries
- All breeding, health, and weight records
- All tasks and protocol history
- All inventory items
- All farm settings and preferences
What is retained
For legal and operational reasons, we may retain the following:
- Server access logs that have been stripped of personally identifying information (retained for 90 days)
- Anonymized analytics data with no link to your personal identity
Payment and subscription transaction records are maintained by Apple (iOS) and Google (Android) under their respective terms of service. BarnDesk does not retain payment records on its own servers.
